My Little Kidney
Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin
Hi everyone! I am a 33 year old single mom located in small town America - living a big life. I am a mother, business owner, student in a doctoral program, adventure seeker, world traveler and lover of all things literary. I have an altruistic nature and love to find ways to give back... so why not a kidney? My baby sister is my inspiration for this, as she was the first one to look into the process a few months ago. Now my goal is to help find a kidney for Michael Pastur, a man in need located in Colorado. While my kidney is not the right size for Michael I am hopeful I can "pay it forward" with a paired kidney donation. This is a sort of "trade your kidney, for my kidney" kind of deal where everyone wins. So follow my blog through the process as I get tested, muddle through the paperwork and hopefully save a life!
